MG Motor New Zealand is adding another electric vehicle to its range with the MG4 Urban, providing over 400km range and priced from $38,990.

Combining practical interior space, modern technology and efficient electric performance, the new model is engineered for everyday life while supporting a more sustainable driving future.

“Designed for how Kiwis live today, the MG4 EV Urban has room for five adults, gear with rapid DC charging capability from 10–80% in around 30 minutes, helping drivers stay on the move,” said Dean Sheed, Country Business Manager – MG Motor New Zealand. 

“Whether you’re a driver seeking an accessible EV vehicle to suit their lifestyle, or wanting to reduce their environmental footprint, the MG4 EV Urban delivers the right combination of space, technology and efficiency.”

The front-wheel-drive SUV is priced from $38,990.

The all-new front-wheel drive vehicle boasts a carefully curated battery option, a 54kWh extended range, providing over 400km of flexible electric mobility, allowing owners to choose ‘exactly the right amount of EV’ to suit their needs.

Clever layout provides generous rear passenger room and large luggage capacity - expanding to over 1,300 litres with the rear seats folded, making it well suited to everyday errands and active lifestyles.

The MG4 Urban is set to arrive in New Zealand later this month.
