Honda New Zealand is launching its first fully-electric car here, with the introduction of the e:N1 with a range of up to 500km.

Priced from $52,000,  the five-door e:N1 SUV boasts an impressive maximum torque of 310 Nm and can be recharged from 30% to 80% in approximately 40 minutes, utilising DC fast charging.

The e:N1 features three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Sport.

The Honda e:N1 has a 15.1” display.

Honda New Zealand’s managing director, Carolyn McMahon, said she was excited to announce the launch of Honda's first fully electric vehicle, the e:N1.

“This momentous introduction represents the start of a significant journey for our brand and underscores Honda's commitment to a sustainable future,” she said.

“The e:N1 is the inaugural model in Honda’s e:N series of electric vehicles. This innovative product combines our dynamic philosophy with a state-of-the-art electric platform, delivering a unique driving experience for today's electrified landscape. We look forward to our valued customers experiencing it firsthand."

The electric SUV has a range of up to 500km.

The exterior of the e:N1 showcases a commitment to refined simplicity. With its sleek LED headlights, eye- catching black cut alloy wheels, a sporty bumper, a conveniently wide charging-port door, and a full-width LED taillight strip, it presents a distinctive and streamlined aesthetic.

The charging port is thoughtfully positioned in the centre of the front bumper for easy access, regardless of which side of the charging station you pull up to. A protective lip above the port shields it from rain, while a three-colour light system provides real-time updates on the charging status.

The interior of the e:N1 is meticulously designed to prioritise passenger convenience and comfort.

A prominent 15.1” display audio touchscreen serves as the central hub for connectivity, divided into three distinct zones for access and ease of use.
