GWM adds Haval H6 hybrid to NZ line-up

GWM has confirmed the new Haval H6 Hybrid will arrive in New Zealand with pricing from $42,990. 

Combined with a significantly upgraded exterior and interior design, the mid-sized family SUV  reaches a new level of style and refinement. 

With a more dynamic and contemporary design, punctuated by premium details, the new Haval H6 is due to arrive in New Zealand in late May.

The GWM Haval H6 has a larger 14.6-inch central info screen.

The new Chinese brand GWM Haval H6 offers a highly competitive combination of style, technology, safety and value. 

The tried and tested powertrain and platform fundamentals from the outgoing H6 have been carried  over to this new model with the key updates being focussed on design and convenience. 

Powertrain details include a 1.5L turbo petrol hybrid engine mated to GWM’s a Dedicate Hybrid Transmission (DHT) producing a combined system output of 179kW and 530Nm.  

It has a fuel economy rated at just 5.2L/100km.

Cabin layout is one of the areas that has received the most attention with a more driver-focussed configuration headlined by a larger 14.6-inch central info screen adding to a more refined, comfortable and focussed experience for drivers and passengers alike. 

Behind this new and improved driver display lies the latest version of GWM’s operating software  which delivers faster processing and more intuitive functionality.  

Additionally, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now also standard across the H6 range.

It produces a combined system output of 179kW and 530Nm.
