The 97th pure electric vehicle has just been launched in New Zealand, with the introduction of the all-new smart #5.
This premium, medium-to-large electric SUV combines long-range capability, advanced technology, luxury appointments, Euro-NCAP five-star safety and high-performance driving in one extremely compelling package.
The #5 will be available alongside the #1 and #3 through the expanded smart dealer network, with dealers now located in Auckland (Albany and Botany), Hamilton, Tauranga and Christchurch.
The smart #5 is a premium medium-to-large SUV.
It will be presented in three distinct variants: the technology-laden smart #5 PRO+, the highly specified smart #5 Premium and the performance-focused smart #5 BRABUS.

The smart #5 BRABUS is priced from $99,990.
The smart #5 PRO+ is priced from $79,990 with up to 540km WLTP range and a 100kWh battery. The smart #5 Premium is priced from $89,990 with up to 590km WLTP range and up to 1,600kg towing.
The smart #5 BRABUS is priced from $99,990 and goes from0–100km/h in 3.8 seconds.
