Jaecoo NZ confirms J5 EV pricing of $42,990

Jaecoo NZ has confirmed the all-new J5 EV will land in dealerships with a price of $42,990, plus on-road costs. 

Set to arrive in March, the single variant comes standard with a large array of features.

The interior is highlighted by a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, glass roof with powered sunshade, ambient lighting and pet-friendly synthetic leather seats.

These seats are made of a special silicone-based material, which is antibacterial and wear-resistant. Not only is it more durable, but it’s also easier to clean. 

Its rugged exterior design takes design elements from off-roading SUVs and combines it with Jaecoo’s signature style.

This includes large Jaecoo lettering at the front and rear, an EV-specific grille with active aero,  slimline headlines, sloping roofline and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Able to travel up to 402km (WLTP), the J5 can be charged from 30-80% in 28 minutes via a  DC fast charger.
