Ford NZ supports Vintage Car Club Daffodil rally
Ford New Zealand and its nationwide dealer network have joined forces this August in support of the New Zealand Vintage Car Club's Daffodil Rally.
Communities across Northland to Otago are rallying to raise funds for the New Zealand Cancer Society, and the initiative will help support patient transport services.
Ford dealerships across the country are getting behind the cause in creative and meaningful ways — from showroom vintage car displays and themed vehicles to donation drives, radio campaigns, community events and staff-led fundraising challenges.
Collectively, Ford is aiming to make a real difference to the thousands of New Zealanders who rely on the Cancer Society's transport services every year.
"The Daffodil Rally is a highlight on the vintage motoring calendar, and it's a privilege for Ford New Zealand and our dealers to get in behind the Vintage Car Club and help the Cancer Society again this year," said Annaliese Atina, Ford New Zealand Managing Director.
"Our dealer partners have shown incredible generosity and creativity in how they're getting involved, and every dollar raised will go directly towards helping cancer patients get to the care they need."
Ford NZ will host its own special Daffodil Rally fundraiser at its office at 650 Great South Road, Ellerslie, on Thursday 27 August 2026 from 11:30 to 1:30. Visitors and staff will have the chance to make a donation to the New Zealand Cancer Society in exchange for a ride in one of three very different Fords — two beautifully restored 1930 Model As or the all-new Mustang Dark Horse — offering a unique celebration of Ford's heritage and its high-performance future, all in support of a great cause.
