Audi NZ has details of all-new A6 allroad

Audi New Zealand has released details of the all-new fifth-generation A6 allroad that is expected here in early 2027.

The new model is 11 centimetres wider, has alloy wheels up to 21 inches in diameter, and allroad-specific design elements give it an imposing presence. 

Audi NZ general manager, Greg Leet, said the A6 allroad is an icon in the brand lineup and has always “embodied an exceptionally capable vehicle for everyday use with genuine off‑road credentials”.

It has a a 14.5-inch touch display plus a 10.9-inch passenger display.

“We are proud to offer a wagon that delivers the space, versatility and confidence many drivers seek in an SUV, while retaining the  efinement, performance and on‑road dynamics that define Audi,” he said.

The A6 allroad has a three-litre V6 diesel engine with 220 kW power and 580 Nm of torque. 

The A6 also combines three electrified components: the MHEV plus technology with belt alternator starter and powertrain generator, which delivers up to 18 kW of additional power, as well as an electric-powered compressor for direct and fast response.

The A6 allroad combines quattro all-wheel drive as standard to combine performance and efficiency.

It boasts a premium interior with a high level of comfort, a digital user experience, and plenty of room for individualisation. This applies to the lighting as well as the equipment. 

The centrepiece is the Audi MMI panoramic display, featuring the 11.9-inch  Audi virtual cockpit and a 14.5-inch touch display, which will be supplemented by an additional  10.9-inch passenger display. 

The new Audi A6 allroad specifications and pricing is yet to be confirmed for New Zealand.

The A6 allroad has quattro all-wheel drive.
