My fellow Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year judge, Sabina Kvášová, has just released her annual women driver survey, and this year is asking: Do women drive safely?

Kvášová, from the Czech Republic, is editor-in-chief of the magazine Zena v aute.cz.

The aim of the survey is to analyse the behaviour of women drivers and their perspectives in different countries. So she wants help from Kiwi female drivers’ thoughts on our driving habits.

“Understanding how women feel when they drive is key to improving road safety and mobility for everyone,” says Marta Garcia, Executive President of Women’s Worldwide Car of the Year (WWCOTY).

“This survey gives women a voice, allowing us to identify the challenges they face, the situations that create stress, and the changes needed to make driving a safer and more confident experience worldwide”

Anyone interested can participate until the end of May 2026 here.

“Through a questionnaire, we want to analyse how women drivers feel, what distracts them from focusing 100% on driving. Thanks to the connection to the Women's Worldwide Car of the Year, we also want to compare the results of surveys in foreign countries," says Kvášová.

The final result will be published worldwide on the occasion of International Women Drivers' Day (#IWDD) on June 24.
