Mercedes-Benz to sponsor ASB Tennis Classic

It’s game, set and match for Mercedes-Benz New Zealand has just announced it will be ASB Tennis Classic’s official automotive partner for the 2027 tournament.

The partnership reflects Mercedes-Benz’s global commitment to professional tennis via its long-term partnership with the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA). 

“We are excited to begin this journey with the ASB Classic and look forward to playing a role in enhancing the experience for players, guests and fans for years to come. With an exceptional line-up of new models arriving in  New Zealand, the timing could not be better to begin this journey,” said Helen Sunley, General Manager, Mercedes-Benz New Zealand. 

Mercedes will provide a fleet of vehicles for the event.

As part of the partnership, Mercedes-Benz New Zealand will provide an exclusive fleet of vehicles to support tournament operations, including player and VIP transportation.

The collaboration comes at a significant time for the brand as a wave of new SUV launches set to arrive in New Zealand over the coming months.  

Among them are the all-new electric GLC and all-new electric GLB, alongside the latest iterations of the highly successful GLE and GLS, due to arrive in November this year.
