The extended version of the all-new Land Rover Defender has been seen in black-and-white camouflage, with black wheels and tinted rear windows, this time undergoing testing in Europe.

Last time the large SUV was photographed near Land Rover's headquarters in Warwickshire but now more details show the longer car's final styling and how close it is to production.

Autocar UK has the photos of the prototype in Europe and the publication says it is set to arrive in 2022 as an eight-seater.

The 130 will be positioned as the "premium explorer" of the Defender range, while the entry-level 90 is the "halo, image icon" and the 110 is the "definitive Defender", says Autocar.

The 130 is original featured on an extended 110 wheelbase, the prototype looks to have a larger rear overhang that makes it 5.1m long.
