Giltrap Group is again hosting the Starship Supercar Show which will see 80 cars worth more than $70 million displayed at the company’s Auckland showroom in September.

First head in 2021, the event will take place over two days (16-17 September) at the Group’s award-winning showroom 119GNR building in Grey Lynn, with 100% of ticket sales supporting the Starship Foundation.

Rather than the one-day event, this time the Starship Supercar Show will be staged across eight sessions across two days with longer sessions.

Michael Giltrap, Joint Managing Director - Giltrap Group, says, "We are delighted to be holding the Starship Supercar Show again, and we are hoping as many car fans as possible will be able to see these incredible cars. We were proud of the 2021 event and we will be equally proud of this one. It's special to us; car lovers marvel at multimillion-dollar vehicles, but what truly matters is that ticket sales benefit the Starship Hospital."

The Aston Martin Valkyrie will be at the Supercar Show.

This year the event will host the official New Zealand debut of the Aston Martin Valkyrie, designed in partnership with Red Bull Racing. The Valkyrie comes as close as possible to being a Formula One car without being restricted to the track, the perfect way to pay tribute to Aston Martin's 110 years.

Another star attraction for 2023 is the all-new Lamborghini Countach, one of only 112 built. Launched 50 years after the original Countach stunned the Geneva Motor Show, the new LPI-800-4 is an equally stunning car to see in the flesh. This hybrid-powered Countach will be part of a celebration of Lamborghini's 60 years as a supercar builder.

McLaren’s 60th Anniversary display will feature some of the finest and rarest supercars produced by McLaren, including the super-rare 403km/h Speedtail and the Elva, which pays tribute to Bruce McLaren's all-conquering Can-Am race cars.

Porsche will mark 75 incredible years at the show with an eight-car display that includes the new 911 Dakar, a 21st-century re-boot of the legendary Dakar Rally-winning 911 from 1984.

Rounding out the anniversaries, Lotus celebrates 70 years and will debut the all-new Eletre Hyper-SUV alongside the Emira.

More cars will be announced in the lead-up to the show, with tickets on sale on July 18 here. Adults are $25, kids $15, and seniors $20.
