Porsche New Zealand today announced that the Taycan Cross Turismo crossover will arrive in the fourth quarter of 2021 in the country, just in time for summer.

Prices will start from $194,900 with the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo with 280kW (350kW when launch control activated), with a 5.1-second sprint to 100km/h, an electric-only range of 389-450km.

Next up will be the 4S with 360kW (420kW with launch control), hitting 100km/h in 4.1 seconds, a top speed of 240km/h, and an electric-only range of 388-452km

The top model, for now, until the inevitable Turbo S comes to fruition, is the Turbo with 460kW (500kW under launch control), with a 100km/h sprint of 3.3 seconds, 250km/h top speed, and an electric-only range of 395-452km.

The high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension comes as standard on all four models. The optional Off-Road Design Package increases ground clearance by up to 30 mm. This means that the Cross Turismo can also be driven on demanding off-road terrain. The standard “Gravel Mode” improves the suitability of the new model for driving on rough roads.

The Taycan Cross Turismo is closely linked to the Mission E Cross Turismo study revealed at the 2018 Geneva Motor Show.
