Land Rover New Zealand has just announced one of our most exclusive and luxurious adventures, The Defender Journey, which encompasses one of the South Island’s most stunning drives.

The iconic two-day trip includes staying at the stunning The Lindis resort, nestled in the breathtaking Ahuriri Valley, in the Central Otago high country.

Land Rover NZ initially had four sessions planned throughout November and December 2024 but spaces are in such demand that a fifth tour date from 4-6 December has been added.

Guests will enjoy the best of locally sourced cuisine and exceptional wines in the expansive dining room each evening, with vast windows merging the indoor and outdoor as the sun sets to showcase some of the darkest night skies in the world.

Guiding participants through this extraordinary journey are the Downforce driving experts. Guest will drive the Defender 110, equipped with a full suite of off-road technology and the D300 6-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine to effortlessly navigate through testing Central Otago terrains and tracks.

The Downforce team provide constant guidance to ensure confidence behind the wheel as guests negotiate these challenging yet satisfying off-road trails.

The cost is from $11,999 per couple and can be booked here.
