GMSV celebrates 10,000th Chevrolet Silverado truck

Joseph Vrapcenjak

GM Specialty Vehicles has just delivered the 10,000th Chevrolet Silverado truck in Australia and New Zealand.

GM Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) was launched on 10 November 2020, with the stand-alone Premoso facility in Dandenong, Victoria now used to convert 20 vehicles a day into right-hand-drive.

The 10,000th Silverado was a Chevrolet 2500 HD in Slate Grey, and was presented to its new Australian owner Joseph Vrapcenjak who already owns a Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ Premium.

Jess Bala, Managing Director of GM Australia and New Zealand, said: “As we celebrate this milestone for GMSV, I would like to thank our remanufacture partner, Premoso, our dealer partners and our customers for their support across Australia and New Zealand.

“We are delighted that Joseph could join the team to celebrate this milestone and see his vehicle roll off the line at the GMSV facility,” said Bala.

Vrapcenjak said: “I am just so excited to be getting my new Silverado! The fact that it is the ten thousandth vehicle is an awesome bonus.

“My family and I cannot wait to hit the road with our BMX bikes, boat, and caravan to do all the ‘live big’ activities that we love to do together.

“This truck makes it possible for us to bring all the accessories we need to spend our time outside together.”
