Henrik Fisker has confirmed that the upcoming Fisker Ocean will produce 400 kilowatts from a two-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrain rather than the previous estimates of 225kW.

Fisker also plans to release updated specifications for the Ocean in November, including an updated range for the electric crossover.

It is expected to have a range of between 402 to 483 kilometers, and would use a battery with a capacity of roughly 80 kilowatt-hours. DC fast charging from 15 to 80 percent would be possible in 30 minutes from a CCS plug at 150 kilowatts.

Fisker estimates deliveries to start in the fourth quarter of 2022.

Los Angeles-based Fisker Inc was also recently in the news regarding creating a special Ocean for Pope Francis.
