Range Rover New Zealand has opened its waiting list for Kiwi customers of the all-electric Range Rover Electric with the first vehicles expected to arrive here in June 2025.

Range Rover UK has revealed only limited images and details of the all-electric model but says prototypes are now being subjected to one of most rigorous engineering sign-off programmes ever.

Range Rover Electric will deliver performance comparable to a flagship Range Rover V8.

Range Rover Electric will be built on the flexible Modular Longitudinal Architecture in Solihull, United Kingdom, alongside existing mild and extended-range plug-in electric hybrid Range Rover vehicles, as a new £70m underbody facility opens at the plant.

The Range Rover Electric will have the same performance of the V8 version.

Geraldine Ingham, Managing Director, Range Rover, says “Since going on sale in 2021 the latest generation Range Rover has set a new benchmark for desirability. Across the globe, we’re seeing the highest levels of client demand in our 53-year history.

“Because of this unprecedented success story, we’re now opening the official waiting list for the opportunity to be among the first to place a pre-order for the most anticipated Range Rover of recent times.

“Marking a new era for the Range Rover brand: the original luxury SUV is now available as an all-electric model.”

Prices and more information will be released closer to launch.
